	Louisiana State University Louisiana State University and Agricultural & Mechanical College had its origin in land grants made by the United States government in 1806, 1811 and 1827 for use as a seminary of learning. In 1853, the Louisiana General Assembly established the Seminary of Learning of the State of Louisiana near Pineville, La. The institution opened January 2, 1860. 	Colorado State University ( CSU ) Colorado State University is a public institution that was founded in 1870. 	University of South Carolina ( UofSC ) Take a quick look at the University of South Carolina and you’ll find some pretty impressive numbers. 	American University ( AU ) American University is a private institution that was founded in 1893.It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 8,527, its setting is suburban, and the campus size is 84 acres. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar. American University's ranking in the 2021 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities, #76. Its tuition and fees are $51,335.
	Auburn University Auburn University was established in 1856 as the East Alabama Male College, 20 years after the city of Auburn's founding. In 1872, under the Morrill Act, the school became the first land-grant college in the South and was renamed the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama. In 1899 the name again was changed, to the Alabama Polytechnic Institute. Finally, in 1960 the name of the school was changed to Auburn University, a title more in keeping with its location, and expressing the varied academic programs and larger curriculum of a major university.
	University of Illinois Chicago ( UIC ) UIC is among the top five most diverse campuses in the nation and a national leader among urban, public higher education institutions in providing access to underrepresented students. 	University of Aberdeen The University of Aberdeen is the fifth oldest university in the UK. 	University of Bath received our Royal Charter in 1966 and are now established as a top 10 UK university with a reputation for research and teaching excellence. Bath is ranked 11th in the Complete University Guide 2018 League table and has 18 subjects placed within the top 10 in the UK. Architecture and Marketing are ranked number one. The university is ranked 5th in The Guardian University Guide 2018. Bath is ranked 12th of 128 universities across the UK in the Good University Guide.
	Founded in 1876, the University of Bristol combines a proud tradition of academic excellence with an independent and forward-thinking spirit. Bristol has an international reputation for high-quality education and research, with the work of its staff and students resonating across the world. More than 25,000 students currently study at the University from over 150 countries. The university currently counts 13 Nobel laureates.
	The University of Leeds is a public research university in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It was established in 1874 as the Yorkshire College of Science. In 1904 a royal charter was granted to the University of Leeds by King Edward VII. The university has 36,330 students, the 5th largest university in the UK (out of 169). From 2006 to present, the university has consistently been ranked within the top five in the United Kingdom for the number of applications received. Leeds was ranked joint 19th (along with the University of St Andrews) amongst multi-faculty institutions in the UK for the quality (GPA) of its research and 10th for its Research Power in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework.
	In the 2014 Research Excellence Framework assessing the research output of 154 British Universities and Institutes, Southampton was ranked 18th for GPA (15th among Russell Group Universities), 11th for research power (11th among Russell Group Universities), and 8th for research intensity (7th among Russell Group Universities). The Guardian ranked the university at number 1 in the UK for Civil Engineering and Electronic and Electrical Engineering in 2020. In the 2023 international university rankings, Southampton ranked 78th (QS World University Rankings)
	The University of York (abbreviated as Ebor or York for post-nominals) is a collegiate research university, located in the city of York, England. Established in 1963, the university has expanded to more than thirty departments and centres, covering a wide range of subjects. The Times University Guide said of York that "The university is increasingly recognised as a permanent fixture in the top rank of British higher education" and that "No university had a better record for teaching quality". In the Times Higher Education rankings York is listed as 34th for Life Sciences & Biomedicine.
	The University of Exeter is a public research university in Exeter, Devon, England, United Kingdom. In the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2020 Subject Rankings, Exeter University ranked 11th in the world for public administration. In the QS World University Subject Rankings 2020, Exeter ranked 10th in the world for sport and health sciences and 14th for engineering in minerals and Mining.
	The University of Manchester has been recognised as the 27th best university in the world by QS. The university was ranked 6th nationally. The University of Manchester was ranked 36th in the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2020. It had the 5th highest ranking of UK universities on this list. In 2019, the university placed 4th nationally in Reuters' list of the World's Most Innovative Universities. Many notable people have worked or studied at the University of Manchester, or its predecessor institutions, including 25 Nobel Prize laureates. In 2017, the Alliance Manchester Business School was ranked 3rd in UK, 10th in Europe and 30th in the world by the Financial Times in its global MBA ranking.
	The University of Birmingham (informally Birmingham University) is a public research university located in Edgbaston, Birmingham, United Kingdom. Birmingham was ranked 12th in the UK in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise with 16 percent of the university's research regarded as world-leading and 41 percent as internationally excellent, with particular strengths in the fields of music, physics, biosciences, computer science, mechanical engineering, political science, international relations and law. The 2013 QS World University Rankings placed Birmingham University at 10th in the UK and 62nd internationally.
	The University of Nottingham is a public research university in Nottingham, United Kingdom. It was founded as University College Nottingham in 1881, and was granted a royal charter in 1948. The University of Nottingham belongs to the research intensive Russell Group association. The university is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the European University Association, the Russell Group, Universitas 21, Universities UK, the Virgo Consortium, and participates in the Sutton Trust Summer School programme as a member of the Sutton 30. Nottingham is ranked 2nd in the UK (after Oxford) and 13th in the world in terms of the number of alumni listed among CEOs of the 500 largest companies worldwide. The 2015 Global Employability University Ranking places Nottingham 78th in the world and 11th in the UK. In 2017, Nottingham was ranked Europe's 71st 'Most Innovative University'.

The University of Auckland The University of Auckland has retained a place in the top ten of the international Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings 2021. The rankings measure how universities worldwide are performing against the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs came into force in 2016 and set a 15-year agenda for all countries to end poverty, fight inequalities and build peaceful, just and sustainable societies.
