01. OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT/CLASS RANK

This is to provide any university with a holistic idea of the student's academic performance and achievements as well as the course rigor.

02. WRITING SAMPLE/STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This is to share your voice, your unique experiences, and your perspective. Let your unique personality shine.

03. LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION

This is to t validate your achievements, personal attributes and skills from someone else.

04. LIST OF EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Extracurricular activities are intended to get students involved in clubs or initiatives that they're passionate about and develop skills. Were you a leader in any of these areas? Note that in your application!

05. COMMUNITY SERVICE/OUTSIDE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Community service can help describe a handful of qualities about the applicant and what values s/he may share with the institution. This is a great way to show your commitment to well-rounded personal development.

06. AWARDS AND RECOGNITION

This is to show your achievement or interest in an area. Let the admissions people know how your hard work has been recognized.

07. NOTE DIVERSITY (IF APPLICABLE)

Diversity is high on agenda for institutions around the world. If your culture is important to you, let them know!

08. PREPARE FOR AN INTERVIEW

This is to discuss why you are a good fit for next year's freshman class.

09. STANDARDIZED TEST SCORES (IF APPLICABLE!)

This is to ensure that students are ready for the rigor of college academics, a measurement of academic preparedness. Most colleges accept standardized test scores from either the SAT, ACT or AP exams.
In addition, a language proficiency test is also required for international students, or those who study outside the U.S. even if s/he is considered a U.S. citizen. The tests that are widely accepted include the TOEFL, IELTS, and Duolingo tests.
