This is the vision behind United Education International School (UEIS) and the reason we created a boarding international school designed around student growth.
At UEIS, we believe boarding education is about far more than providing students with a place to live. It is about creating a supportive community where students feel safe to explore, learn independence, and grow into confident individuals while being understood and cared for.
From morning routines and classroom learning to athletic activities, evening study sessions, and residential life, students are surrounded by teachers and residential advisors who provide guidance and support throughout the day. Through our small class environment and approximately 1:3 student-to-caregiver ratio, every student receives personalized attention and encouragement, allowing them to develop a learning and living rhythm that fits their individual needs.
At UEIS, teachers are not simply instructors. They are mentors who walk alongside students throughout their growth journey. They pay close attention to each student’s academic progress, adjustment to school life, and emotional well-being, creating a campus environment that feels like a supportive second family.
One evening after study hall, a student quietly approached a teacher and said:
“Teacher, I’m feeling a little homesick today. Could you talk with me for a while?”
Rather than immediately offering advice, the teacher simply sat with the student, listened to his experiences from the day, and gave him space to share his feelings, his thoughts about home, and his hopes for the future.
After some time, the student smiled and said:
“Thank you, teacher. I feel much better now.”
This simple moment represents the kind of care and connection that UEIS values every day.
We believe children need more than someone who teaches them academic skills. They need someone who will listen, understand, and support them when they face challenges, uncertainty, or moments of doubt.

UEIS hopes to provide another pathway.
Students do not need to leave Taiwan to experience the benefits of an international boarding school. Within a full English learning environment, they can develop independence, global perspectives, and cross-cultural communication skills while still maintaining meaningful connections with their families.
During the week, students grow and learn in a supportive school community. On weekends, they return home to share their experiences, stories, and growth with their families.
