Cycling Through Fulong's Old Caoling Path
On an afternoon blessed with sunshine, we embarked on a memorable cycling adventure destined for the Old Caoling Bicycle Path in Fulong. Along the route, guided by their teachers, the children steadily pedaled forward, all the while taking in the magnificent mountain and ocean views of the Northeast Coast. They encouraged and looked out for one another, the entire journey full of strong team spirit and positive vibes.
Our first stop was the distinctive Old Caoling Tunnel. The rolling hills presented a challenge for the children, yet also marked the commencement of their achievements. As their bike wheels rolled into the tunnel, the sunlight vanished in an instant. Then, as the distant melody of "Diudiu Tongzai" drifted through the air, the children couldn't help but cheer. Some even began to hum along to the familiar and comforting tune, creating an atmosphere that was both relaxed and joyful.
The 2,167-meter-long tunnel proved to be a truly memorable experience for all the students. On the return journey, every single one of their faces was illuminated with smiles reflecting a profound sense of accomplishment and happiness.
This cycling expedition was more than just a physical exercise; it was also a journey of spiritual growth. The students learned the importance of perseverance and mutual assistance, and in the embrace of nature, they forged a wealth of beautiful memories.
