The finish line is just the beginning. What does a marathon teach our students about life?

Under the cloudy but dry skies of the Dongshan River, UEIS students stepped out of the classroom and into a challenge of endurance and character. Today wasn't just about running; it was a testament to our commitment to Holistic Education—where physical well-being and character development are just as important as academic excellence.

We witnessed determination in every stride. Whether they were sprinting for the podium or pushing themselves to simply finish the race, every student demonstrated the kind of perseverance that top universities worldwide look for. A special shout-out goes to our top finishers who exemplified excellence: Mars-5th Place, Jim-9th Place, Sean H-10th Place. Your hard work and discipline are truly inspiring!

But the spirit of UEIS shines just as brightly off the track. We are incredibly proud of our student volunteers who dedicated their time to environmental maintenance during the event. By serving the community and keeping the venue clean, they embodied the values of social responsibility and global citizenship that are central to our mission. They showed us that leadership is also about service.

To the families who cheered from the sidelines—thank you. Your presence creates the supportive community that allows our students to thrive. Together, we are raising a generation of students who are not only academically capable but also resilient, compassionate, and ready to make a positive impact on the world.
